GHSP selected CARNEVALE to visualize and design its autonomous vehicle innovations with a very tight deadline for CES 2020. The project was not easy; tight deadlines, little room for error, and a reliance on intuition and deep expertise with creative strategy, user experience, and device technology.
CARNEVALE brought GHSP’s TravelPod vision to life by first stepping back to question what was possible, followed by rapid ideation and iteration, resulting in a cohesive system, balanced by user control and the benefits of autonomy. The physical and digital user interface, combined with the rotary multifunction control is a first of its kind for Level 4 and 4 autonomous vehicles. Drivers are able to understand and control the intelligent driving system, and internal and external systems, including comfort, entertainment, and window tint.
The live demos of the TravelPod at CES rose above the crowd of innovations. Event-goers interacted directly with the system, further providing GHSP with keen insights into how autonomous driving interfaces can empower drivers while relieving them of control no longer needed. GHSP enjoyed a further boost of its brand reputation as a redefiner of categories and gained measurable traction with autonomous systems and industry decision-makers.
